NJLATS

The New Jersey Latino American Trooper Society – NJLATS is a 501c3 Nonprofit Community outreach Organization that was established in 2013. It is comprised of active, retired and civilian members of the New Jersey State Police. NJLATS is committed to building and maintaining relationships between law enforcement and Latino communities.

 

NJLATS conducts various bilingual community outreach programs which extend to various parts of the United States, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. NJLATS offers peer support, community based mentoring and counseling with the assistance of New Jersey State Police Chaplain, Carlos Cedeno, the first Latino Chaplain in New Jersey State Police History
