Today, NJLATS held its first annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in the City of Perth Amboy. In keeping her promise to return back her roots, DSG Nydia Cubero, an alumni of Perth Amboy High School coordinated this event on the same courts she played on as a youth, and the city youth came out in force. 18 teams entered the competition, playing in the heat, for the right to be called the NJLATS 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Champions and these kids did not disappoint. NJLATS would to like to thank the NJSP Basketball Team, Perth Amboy Police, Perth Amboy Recreation and all the city residents who also came out to support these young ballers in making this event a success. NJLATS looks forward to returning next year and have more teams compete.
