New Jersey State Police Sends Troopers to Aid Puerto Rico with Recovery from Hurricane Fiona

Two waves of New Jersey State troopers were recently deployed to Puerto Rico assisting the residents of the island on the road to recovery after the devastation caused by Hurricane Fiona. During both waves, troopers assisted with traffic details, performed welfare checks, and supplied water to those in need. During the second wave, troopers also raised more than $3,000 to purchase much needed school supplies for 100 students at Escuela San Patricio in La Pica, Puerto Rico.
