In honor of Women’s History Month, New Jersey Latino American Trooper Society (NJLATS) in partnership with Perth Amboy Recreation Department hosted a Women’s Empowerment Symposium in Perth Amboy. Female Troopers spoke to student-athletes in the Perth Amboy girl’s basketball program about their respective backgrounds and careers.
DSG Feehan from the NJSP Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICACU) also provided a presentation to all attendees about staying safe online.
All student-athletes left with donated supplies and a positive interaction with a female Trooper.
